Bookshelf

Reading is the first step toward writing, proofreading, editing… all of it, really. A big part of reading is buying books (at least for those of us who aren’t smart enough to just use our public libaries). And a lot of books are bought online these days (even though supporting a great local bookstore is always the best option).

Bookshop

Bookshop.org is a great alternative to that big website that started by selling books, and it’s a B Corporation! Bookshop also helps support local bookstores, much like Libro FM does.

Textamend on Bookshop

Textamend’s Bookshop store is an affiliate shop collecting some books that I think are good for encouraging literacy, some books that I think are good for developing one’s writing skill/style/voice, and finally, just some books I’ve read recently (as you can also find on my Storygraph page).

Tertulia

As much as I love Bookshop, I must also note that Tertulia is an even better option for buying books online, since it’s a co-op owned by its members (like me!).
